The Texas Rocker story began in 1975 in the Heart of East Texas with a dream of building handcrafted furniture from beautiful hardwoods.  Backed up by hard work and dedication, this dream has grown into a company whose furniture enhances homes and businesses in over forty different states throughout the U.S.  Over the years, the quality of our custom designs has been recognized by the Eyes of Texas, Texas Country Reporter, Better Homes and Gardens Wood magazine, and Texas Highways magazine. 

This family owned business operates from a shop in the Deep East Texas Piney Woods.  Our designs are inspired by our customer's dreams, and every handmade product receives our careful attention to detail.  The hallmark of our company is the Texas Rocker, many of which have can be found in the homes of Texas governors, other politicians, and popular country music stars.

As we celebrate our 35th anniversary, we remember the days of cutting our own logs and using our own saw mill to rip and shape the wood used in manufacturing our rocking chairs. Rocking chairs will always be a focal point of our business, but over the years we have added many new designs to our product line, including tile-top dining tables and chairs built with 28 hand-pegs to insure they become family heirlooms.    Our conference tables grace the boardrooms of some of the most prestigious offices in the state.
